In the school interview masterclass, your child is coached on what schools are looking for, how to conduct themselves, respond to different question types, and provided with hints and tips for interview success.
After the masterclass (and a break), the interview practice session will commence. Each student will then sit in the ‘hot seat’, to act as the interviewee for their preferred school and answer a handful of school interview questions. In addition, the students will act as interviewers for their peers in the session. Each student will observe their peers approach to answering questions, and learn from their strength and weaknesses.
All students will be explained the marking scheme and allocated a mark for each question and as interviewers, they will grade other students and provide verbal feedback to their peers. This provides an invaluable learning exercise for students to practice interview questions and learn from others.

After the session
After the session, you will be emailed a quiz regarding school interviews. Please ask your child to complete this and if you wish, you can reply to the email with their score.
Within 48 hours of the session, I will provide you with feedback on how your child scored and performed in the interview practice questions. The score will reflect my score (and not the score of their peers, which is fed back verbally in the session).
This feedback will be provided as a written report emailed to you.
