The Workshops
- For child safety and safeguarding, the student’s camera must remain on during the duration of the online workshop or masterclass. This will also ensure the child is engaged, participating, and interacting to fully benefit from the workshop.
- If a student refuses to turn on their camera, they will be requested to do. If the problem persists, the parent/guardian will be firstly informed. If the problem persists then the student may be removed from the course. The parent/guardian will be informed, and no refund will be issued.
- Please ensure the name on the zoom call is labelled with the child’s correct name and the name you used to register the child onto the course.
- Only students who registered for the workshop are permitted to take part. The booking is made per child. More than one child may share a device however each child must be registered separately. It is advised for siblings to participate on separate devices (if possible)
- Please do not share the joining instructions or course material with others who are not participating in the course.
- Should the teacher experience any technical issues which impairs the course from being delivered, we will aim to contact you via the telephone number or email address you provided upon registration.
- The course will be highly interactive. The children are expected to engage and fully participate. Questions may be directed at students, however if they are not comfortable answering, they do not have to answer.
- If the student continuously refuses to engage, persistently turns their camera off, does not follow the rules, or uses bad language, we reserve the right to inform you and terminate their place in the workshop. Refunds will not be provided in such instances. Multiple warnings will be issued in advance.
- We respect your child’s confidentiality and anything they share will be respected and kept confidential (unless there is a safeguarding concern, this will be escalated)
- Please advise your child to engage with others respectfully, only use the chat function for activities within the workshops, please do not directly message other students. If the student is impacting the wellbeing of another student, we reserve the right to terminate their place on the course (they will be given warnings if required and termination would be a final course of action)
